 Like the song says, if Curella De Vil doesn't scare you, no evil thing will. From the time she was a little girl, Curella had always been eager to please her mother. To earn love. From her only childhood, Curella changed. After possibly getting cursed, Curella was no longer a sweet little girl. A mixture of heart-break and longing made her into the fashionable villain the world knows her as.  Curella's tale was so sad! She was such a sweet little girl that it would be impossible to think she would become a ruthless monster. Her mother was so awful to her and from the moment I started reading, I pitied Curella. Ever since I started reading Evil Thing , I've had the Curella De Vil song stuck in my head! I definitely want to watch 101 Dalmations  again now! One thing that I loved about Evil Thing  was that it was told in first person. The other six books in the series were told in third person. Though out the Villains series, the Odd Sisters have messed up everyone's lives. They've manipulated the Beast, the Evil Queen, Ursula, Malicafent, and Mother Gothel. Now, it's time for the fairies to chose the Sister's fate. Meanwhile, Circe and Snow White dive deeper into the Sister's shocking past. Their dark truth we finally emerge from beneath the shadows. I was expecting The Odd Sisters  to make me pitty Lucinda, Ruby, and Martha but I still hate them! Unlike the rest of the books in the Villains  series, this book didn't make me feel bad at all for the book's main villain. Now that I've talked about the sisters, I'll talk a little bit about the other characters in this book. Circe was nice and she kept the story moving. The wicked sea witch was known for taking advantage of an innocent mermaid. But her tale is so much more than that. Ever since Ursula was a child she's been trying to balance out her normal life from the dark one arising inside of her. All it took to throw her off the deep end were the three odd sisters.         Poor Unfortunate Soul tells Ursula's side of the story, The Little Mermaid . This is an amazing take on the fairytale I grew up loving.         I loved Disney movies when I was younger and Ariel was probably my favorite out of all the princesses. The Queen struggles with her looks and the trauma from her childhood helps her accept the fact that she must become the fairest of them all.    This is definitely my favorite version of Snow White! From the Queen's early days as a child to her last moments, Serena Valentino took this seemingly innocent fairy tale and turned it into something dark and twisted.
