If You Like This Book, You Should Read...

Today, I'm doing one of the most basic types of book recs. The title is pretty self-explanatory so I'm just going to start.

If you like The Selection you should read Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard.

Both books are dystopian and deal with royals mistreating the lower society. Red Queen has a makeshift caste system that's divided by blood color. Both books have an amazing love triangle.

If you like Alex & Eliza you should read Hamilton and Peggy by L.M. Elliott

The main reason these two books are grouped together is kinda obvious. They are both about Hamilton. The main difference is one's more centered around Peggy and the other one is about Eliza. Sorry Angelica fans, I have yet to find a book about her.

If you like Onyx & Ivory then you would like Forged in Fire and Stars by Andrea Robertson.

I don't have the best explanation for this one but I just feel these two would go good together. Both characters go on a journey, they fall in love, and of course, there's magic. That's really all I have.

If you like The Book Theif than you would like The Boy in the Striped Pajamas by John Boyne
Both The Book Theif and The Boy in the Striped Pajamas are historical fiction books that take place during the Holocaust. While one book is about a protagonist on the Furys side, the other is about one who supports the Jewish.

If you like As Old as Time you should read The Beast Within by Serena Valentino.
Both of the books mentioned above are retellings of Beauty in the Beast. As Old as Time explores the theory that the Enchantress could have been Belles's mother while The Beast Within was about the Beast's story.
