All the Wrong Questions by Lemony Snicket

All the Wrong Questions: Question 1: Also Published as "Who Could That Be at This Hour?"Lemony Snicket is a detective and his newest case has stumped him. After being recruited to steal back a priceless object, Lemony finds that things aren't all its cracked up to be. His employer may turn out to be a bad guy hiding and even bigger mystery. And to make it worse, Lemony has been asking all the wrong questions.
All the Wrong Questions is about Lemony's life before recording the events of the Baudlier children. The book was kind of like a prequel to A Series of Unfortunate Events. Lemony is the only character so far that's in both series.
I like Lemony Snicket's writing style. He'll always take a word or phrase that the reader might not know the meaning of and explain it. He will say something like, "which here means to ___." This is such a noticeable part of Snicket's writing. He used this style in A Series of Unfortunate Events.
Anyway, Snicket included the perfect mix of foreshadowing and cliffhangers in his writing. I think one of the reasons I like his books so much is because his writing is so different from others.
All the Wrong Questions has illustrations every so often. The pictures were colored blue which is different from other books. Usually, pictures are fully colored or black and white. In all, I really like this book.
