December TBR

December is here! The end of 2020 is upon! We're finally in the last chapter, bookworms! Since Christmas is vastly approaching, I'll be attempting to finish ALL the books on my TBR before I get many more at the end of the month. Now I know that sounds really intimidating, but I only own four unread books.

Dorothy Must Die Stories Vol 3 by Danielle Paige

First up is Dorothy Must Die Stories Vol 3. I've owned this book for almost a year now so this is definitely a book that I want to get to soon. Dorothy Must Die Stories Vol 3 contains the last three novellas in the Dorothy Must Die series. I've really liked the prequel novellas for this series so far so I can't wait to read these ones!

Little Woman by Lousia May Alcott

Back in March, I went to go see Little Woman at the movie theatre and it was a great movie! Since then, I've wanted to read the book and I'm sure if it's anything like the movie, I will love it!
Though the March sisters are as different as can be, family is most important to them all. Despite all their wild antics, they can't help but wonder when or if their father will return from the war.

The Queen's Secret by Jessica Day George

A year ago, I read The Rose Legacy which was one of my favorite books of 2019. I think that this month, I will finally (finally) get to the sequel, The Queens Secret.
Anthea is one of the few people who know the truth about horses. They don't carry deadly diseases. She finally convinces the king of this, he agrees to bring horses out of exile. At the same time, a deadly plague breaks out and people blame the horses. Soon Anthea comes to find a secret that could change everything, but cost her everything to reveal it.

The Boy Who Dared by Susan Campbell Bartoletti

The next book on my TBR is The Boy Who Dared. I've had this book for a while and it's one of those books that I forgot I even owned.
While listening to an illegal radio, Helmut finds out that Germany is lying to its people. When he exposes the truth, he's convicted of treason. While waiting for his death, his story emerges through flashbacks.

The Wishing Spell & The Enchantress Returns by Chris Colfer

The last two books on my TBR are The Wishing Spell and The Enchantress Returns by Chris Colfer. These are the first two books in The Land of Stories series.  I really want to go back and reread this series because it's been one of my favorites for a while. Now that I own the full series, I would love to go and binge this series.
It's been almost a year since Alex and Connor Bailey's father died. On their 12th birthday, they are given a book of fairytales. When the book starts glowing, the twins are transported to the Land of Stories, a magical place where fairytales are real. To get back home, they'll need to complete the wishing spell, but the Evil Queen is also after the ingredients and she'll stop at nothing to stop them.

Well, that's my TBR for the month! What are you hoping to read this month?
