Let's Book Talk:The Girl in the Blue Coat

Did you love this book as much as me? Well, I hope you at least read it because this book talk will have major spoilers. Of course, feel free to start a discussion about the book in the comments. I would love to hear your opinions.

Bas

I know Bas was never really alive when the story took place but I loved him. Just the memories that Hanneke shared bought me to tears. I think every girl who reads this book would want a Bas for herself. 

Ollie

I would have never expected him to fall in love with Willhelm but I ship it. IT made me wish so badly that their romance would have been socially acceptable and I'm really sad their relationship was never developed farther.

Mirjam and Amelia

This was undoubtedly the biggest plot twist in the book. I was shocked when I found out that the whole time Hanneke was really looking for Amelia. It's still sad that Amelia died but at the same time, I was glad that Mirjam was still alive. 

I was speechless when we found the girl that Amelia was the girl in Mrs. Jenssen's basement the whole time. 

I loved Girl in the Blue Coat. The mystery was put together so well and it kept me on the edge of my seat.
