Tarot Card Book Recs.

        

Besides reading, another hobby of mine is reading tarot cards. Tarot cards are used by physics to tell fortunes. There are two arcana in tarot. The minor arcana has four suits the wands, cups, swords, and pentacles. And there's the major arcana which has a bunch of random cards. Today, I'll be giving you book recommendations based on your tarot card reading.

        The most common tarot spreads are always three cards. The cards shown below are numbered 1-3 (left to right). Chose the one you feel most drawn to. Then, I'll give you two book recommendations.

Here are the cards turned over:

Card Number 1

        The first card is Judgment. The Judgment card is part of the major arcana. The Judgment card symbolizes forgiveness. The white bird shown is rising above the others and giving mercy.

        The first book rec. for judgment is Love & Luck by Jenna Evans Welch. Addie and her brother Ian have been fighting all summer. During the book, that has to figure out a way to mend their broken relationship. They learn to forgive each other throughout the course of the book.

        The second book recommendation for Judgement is The Year Afer You by Nina de Pass. After Cara's best friend, G, dies in an accident, Cara can't help but feel that it's her fault. In this book, she has to learn to forgive herself for the night that G died.

Card Number 2

        The second card is the Seven of Swords. The Seven of Swords stands for secrecy and deceit. This card is part of the minor arcana. 

        My first recommendation is The Beholder by Anna Bright. This recommendation comes from the deceit part of this card. Selahs stepmother, Alessandra, is very deceitful towards her stepdaughter.

        The other recommendation for the Seven of Swords is A Castle in the Clouds by Kirstein Gier. This book is a mystery so of course bone-chilling secrets and deceit are involved.

Card Number 3

        The last tarot card in this reading is The Chariot. The Chariot symbolizes strong will and triumph. 

        The first recommendation is The Selection by Kiera Cass. America Singer is a very strong-willed and badass female. I feel like out of all the characters I could think of, America embodied The Chariot best. 

        The last recommendation in this post is Miss Peregrines Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs. Thought the series, Jacob and his friends desperately try and save the world of the Peculiars. The whole cast of main characters are strong-willed and they come out triumphant in the end.

        The deck I used for this reading was The Wild Unknown Tarot. The cards in this deck are so beautiful. I will do more readings in the future. This is also the 100th post on my blog so yay!
